Whilst very different in terms of genetic profile, Hemp & Cannabis both belong to the Cannabis Sativa species and are in fact the same plant. Hemp tends to have high levels of CBD and low levels of THC, whilst what most people refer to as Cannabis tends to have high levels of THC and low levels of CBD.
