CBDa (Cannabidiolic acid) is the acidic form of CBD. The Hemp plant naturally produces CBDa, which then converts into CBD when subject to heat or light. This conversion is known as decarboxylation.
CBDa was previously deemed to be an inactive cannabinoid, which triggered many producers to focus on completely converting all of the CBDa to CBD in CBD oils.
However, more recent research is showing that CBDa not only plays a key role in the entourage effect and maximises the potency of CBD Oil, but also has its own unique benefits.
Our CBD Hemp Oils contain a healthy balance of CBD to CBDa which one of the reasons why they are so effective. To read more about CBDa, CLICK HERE.
